Party Plan Format

In your groups you are planning a party for 100 people. Remember that a larger/longer term plan like this is comprised of lots of smaller plans. Be aware of timing/order of events and of budget. Follow the format below in your write ups Due Feb. 3 or 4.

You will win us over with fun ideas and detailed planning.

Party Plan Format

·      State your party theme/goal

·      Venue/date/duration

·      List your budget (how are you using the $200;how are you raising the rest? What does each aspect of the plan cost?) See example .

·      What must you do first? (When/where/how?)
·      What must you do next? (When/where/how?)
·      List each task in It’s time specific order

·      Be sure to do the research so that your estimates are realistic. (ex. Go online to see what a venue rental actually may cost)

·      Don’t forget licensing and clean up
·      Be creative, have fun, and sell your idea to us!

It's a Party!

IT’S A PARTY!

On Feb. 3 or 4 2014, you and your team, of not more than 4 people, will present your plan for the Best party EVER!

·      Party will be for 100 people
·      You have $200.00 to start; you may need to raise more
·      NO YOU CANNOT GET IT FROM YOUR RELATIVES!
You can get help from your family (resources like a ride/yard etc.)

·      There will be a prize awarded for the most creative/best organized plan.

·      Which party sounds like the most fun and the most likely to be successful? This is our criteria.

·      Consider the fact that larger long term plans like this will need to be made up of a bunch of smaller plans that happen in advance of the goal in a timely fashion.

·      Search party planning to get help on how to break it down.

·      Dream big! Then make it a reality with detailed planning.

·      Make allowances for things that could go wrong with contingency planning ex. If it rains where can you move your outside party?

Be creative, be detail oriented and have a lot of fun!
