Day 1 homework due oct. 20th

Hey Planners!

Today we looked at Transferable skills (skills we may possess that we can use in a variety of situations). As we look ahead to resume'  building, we are identifying our skills in action.

 Homework ( day 1 due Oct. 20/ day 2 Oct. 21):

  • Choose a job you could do today and would  today ( you have the skills). Remember that entry level jobs come with some training on the job.
  • List the top 5 skills  needed for that job that you have.
  • For each of these 5 skills, give an example of you demonstrating/doing that skill.
Please be careful with your grammar, spelling and organization as we are beginning the practice of writing for professional situations.
  • please type your work, print it and hand it in on time.
Have a wonderful weekend everybody!
Ms. S

·     Choose 1 to explore further. Then:

·     List 3 duties associated with the job

·      List 3 skills required for this job and how one might use them. (you have to think)`

·     What is the compensation/pay range?

·     Watch the videos of a day in the life of this job.

·     What do you think about this job now that you have learned more? What about it suits you ? What does not suit you?
